The most important are ABS brakes, ESP stability control system and twin front airbags. Possessing the new Smart Cabrio means lower environment taxes and charges for the owner. The average carbon dioxide emission has been estimated at some 116 g/km which is the target of most EU countries and lets the car go anywhere. The only thing that may not be appreciated by drivers will probably be the fuel consumption. Urban areas are notorious for traffic jams and slow car movement and no car so far has been immune to higher-than-usual fuel consumption. The Cabrio is not much different though some vast improvements have been made.
